My back ached, my head ached, my throat was so raw from coughing that I coughed up blood and often threw up, I had a fever between 101 and 102 for nine days, I lived on water and tangerines for a week because that is all I could get down and keep down, and by the second week I developed conjunctivitis. I had a pretty constant fever, but, yes, I did wake up drenched. It was hard to sleep at night, though.
